It's been a while since I've actually uploaded anything! I don't have a scanner of my own, and I haven't had the privacy to just scan whatever I want. I actually have a lot of things on queue to upload--I've actually drawn nudes of the Mane Six, which I will be uploading throughout this week.

I've been working on the way the lines of my drawings look, and I'm pretty satisfied with how they are and how my style is developing. I wish I could actually color these in digitally, but I don't have a working tablet...I have an old one, but it's broken. I'll probably be able to buy one by Christmas, unless I (miraculously) get enough commissions to buy it earlier. And then I can treat you all to quality, digital art (once I remember how to color)!

Would you mind me giving a small little critique on this? :iconfluttershyshyplz: I know I'm not the best at it, but I'd love to give you some tips without getting slammed upon in absolute rage(This has happened every time and prevented me from qorking at making my critiques a little better)

Oh, sure! Thanks for letting me know; I don't usually expect critiques, but it's never a bad thing to know where I can improve.

Okay. So first off, it is one of the better human drawings I've seen by members. But some anatomical features are a little off. For one, I see you noted that a human female's hips are wider in comparison to a male. However, the hips are a little too wide for this figure. I can guess it's wide because of your current style or just to show that cutie mark Plotlolol. The hip width is generally just a little bit wider than shoulder length. And the bum is a little too high, making her back fall really short. I suggest moving that area down to match the end of the belly button so it looks like she has a back.

One shoulder(right in our view) is higher than the other. Unless the arm for this was higher up(reaching for something, slight shrugging, etc), the shoulder would be about the same height as the other. This ties into the neck line. The back of the neck is a little too far out, or her head is too low. I'll leave that part for you to choose, though I'd go for the latter.

Her face is a little bit off on the further end, where her eye is slanted at a weird angle and her cheek is out too far. This makes her face look really wide at a 3/4 angle(Which is the angle this face is in). Her jawline is just a tad bit of, curving too lat near the chin. This is partially connected to the cheek issue. If the cheek was moved a little closer to the nose, then I'm sure it would look a little better.

The arm that's showing seems to have one thickness. Arms are tricky, I know. I suggest adding faint muscle hints to show she has some flesh in her. Muscles wrap around the body, so looking at many references may help you for that. Around the wrist, it should thin out since there's nothing but tendons there(Well... There's more than that, but for now, I'm sticking with fleshing the character out). This thinning at the wrist would hint that she has, what some people call, tumor arms-- where the arms get really thick and merge into the hand width. I guess looking for anthro-amphibian characters may help... Or gardevoir. Her fingers are a bit thick too. Try slimming those a bit, adding some ridges or bumps to show the finger "pads" and/or joints.

The crotch, lol. The outline of the "lip" is a little too vertical. This outline curves around because females have special parts covered in fleshy flesh that I really shouldn't be talking about because this isn't showing those naughty bits. SHOTBECAUSEOHGAWDTHATMUST'VEFELTWEIRDREADINGTHAT. Again, this ties into the legs being a bit thick.

I suggest looking around for references and drawing some studies, while you revisit this piece. I do like it, and you do have potential. And like all artists, we have much to work on. I congratulate you on this piece, and expect you to attempt to use this critique to help you better yourself with human anatomy. I can't exactly say too much, even though it appears that I have, since I do not know what weight you were going for. My critique is applied for a "petite" fluttershy, but if you wanted her to be a little "fluffy", that's fine too c:

PS- My human anatomy isn't the best either xD

Thanks for the critique. :3 A lot of the stuff that you mentioned I'd noticed as well, and I actually made efforts to correct them when I drew the other five ponies (with varying measures of success).

I had noticed that her hip was too far up after I had finished the drawing, and I have general issues with getting things even, especially with faces...I should try to be less lax about that. Also, I'm quite aware that her thighs are much larger than is realistic. Larger thighs are my personal preference, though it's exaggerated to the point where she looks like the comic book heroines with thighs bigger than their waists, jeez! I just...can't really make them smaller so I thought "What the heck! Thunder Thighs for everyone!". I try not to let it get much bigger than this (though really, when I regularly draw expansion/weight gain fetish art, it's easy to lose sight of what's realistic....).

And her genitals...lol. I wasn't originally going to draw them, they were kind of an afterthought, and I thought they looked "good enough". I should know better though, seeing as I have one of those! The ponies after this one are more or less better, but hey--I think it's more realistic to think that their genitals wouldn't all look identical!

Thank you for taking the time to comment on my drawing. I want to get better so that then you guys would have nicer things to look at! ;3

Ahah, I know that feel when it comes to mistakes that are obvious after finishing something. I tend to catch mistakes that some people miss on my drawings.(I'm so anal about my own drawings). But I do enjoy some insight by people who want to help me with my drawings in return.

And yes, I see them thunder thighs :P

Anywho, I'm glad you noticed these mistakes and are trying to perfect them. Thank you for letting me do a critique on your piece. c:
